Brazil Wins Confederations Cup By Beating Spain 3 Nil [Video]

It may not have been the best example of Brazil's famous "jogo bonito" but that didn't seem to bother anyone wearing yellow at the Maracana.

In just the second minute of the Confederations Cup Final, Fred bundled home an unlikely opening goal during a scramble in front Iker Casillas' net. A cross from embattled Brazilian forward Hulk eluded Casillas and Spanish defenders Sergio Busquets and Gerard Pique. The ball unexpectedly dropped to Neymar, taking a deflection of his lower right leg. It then appeared to bounce up into Busquets' hand. Having fallen to the turf amid the grappling for the ball, Fred then had the presence of mind to knock the ball into the back of the net with his right foot as Casillas dove for it.
