
Army officials ordered workers to stop clearing the site Friday as they tried to free a person they said was still alive.
DHAKA, Bangladesh — Rescue workers in Bangladesh said they have found a survivor buried amid the wreckage of a garment factory building that collapsed 17 days ago.
Workers at the site had been clearing the rubble since the collapse April 24. More than 2,500 people were rescued from the site in the immediate aftermath of the collapse.
