Boko Haram Stole Over N200 Million ($1.3m) In Daura, Katsina Attack

BANKS RAIDED BY BOKO HARAM

Banks robbed includes; First Bank (N70m), Access Bank (N34m), Keystone Bank (N40m), Unity Bank (N40) all Gen Buhari's Town of Daura Attack.

It is now confirmed that members of the Islamic terror group that made away raw cash worth over N200 million at the time they invaded the hometown of former Head of state, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari early hours of yesterday.
The affected banks are, First bank, Access bank, Keystone bank and Unity bank.

The Islamist group used IEDs to blow off the entrances and vaults of the banks where they looted millions of cash.
According to the Brigade Commander, 3rd Brigade of the Nigeria Army , Bukavu,Brigadier Illysu Abbah, the security agencies suffered some casualties in the attack and were able to recover some assorted arms and ammunition used by the insurgents. 

Some of the recovered arms and ammunition are;

1] 11 AK47 rifles.

2] 73 magazines.

3] 275 rounds of 7.62 ammunition.

4] 118 rounds of FNW ammunition.

5] 141 rounds of 9 mm ammunition.

6] 1 smoke gun.

7] two vehicles.

8] Various types of improvised explosive devices.
